INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

It is the home team coach or team manager's responsibility, with the delegated authority of a Club Offical to inspect the game field prior to the match. If conditions require postponement of the match, the Home Teamís Club Official, after inspection of the field, must notify the League no later than 2 hours prior to the scheduled starting time of the match that field conditions may require postponement of the match.
A match MAY NOT be cancelled if the game falls within the 2 hr. window. If the game falls within the 2 hr. window, then BOTH teams MUST report to the field and ONLY the REFEREE can cancel the game. Referees are entitled to their fee if they show up to the field.
ONLY a Club Official can cancel a match by emailing info@ccsoccerleague.com, not the coach. Once the Club Official cancels a match, the home team coach is responsible for notifying ASSIGNED REFEREE and the opposing team, preferably by phone.
A cancelled game must be rescheduled within 48 hours. Once rescheduled, the HOME team coach must notify NYCSL by email, with visiting team copied. Send Email with agreed upon rescheduled game date and time to info@ccsoccerleague.com.
